This is frustrating isn’t it. We upgraded to a package from Autodesk that includes 3ds Max, awesome. Except that it crashes parallels when it opens. Took a little digging but found the answer. Full text at the parallels website: http://kb.parallels.com/en/113971
Parallels runs virtual drivers that can complicate things sometimes but in the end, it’s ok. For the moment we’re rocking.
